Three Candidates Enter Race for Mayor

According to the New Mexico Secretary of State Voter Services Website, the following candidates are campaigning for the upcoming November election for Jal:

Mayor: W. Stephen Aldridge (incumbent), Larry Burns, and Phillip Nathan Little.

Candidates for Jal City Council: Stacy Ward (incumbent), Julia Watson, Rebekah Richard (incumbent), Lorenzo Chacon (incumbent), Michael Richard Thorne, Julian Sauceda, Elizabeth Rey Acosta.

Jal School Board: Julia Watson, James Gooss (incumbent), Amy Crawford (incumbent), Cruz-Martin Melchor Sanchez.

Jal Hospital Board: Christine Anne Little (incumbent), Julia Watson, Bridgot Denise Fulfer (incumbent), Kaytlinne Danielle Serna, Johnny M. Owen II.

We will endeavor to interview each of these candidates, publishing them between now and the election, each in their own words to the extent possible, to help inform Jal voters about each of these who have stepped up to help lead and serve the people of Jal.
