JAL WEATHER

Savannah Moore

Activities/Sports: I played Softball my freshman year, I was in FCCLA my sophomore year and was a part of Student Athletic Training my junior year as well as a Cheer Manager.

Favorite part of high school: My favorite part of my high school experience would be being in ITV class with my friends. On Mondays and Wednesdays, struggling with Ebany trying to understand our Spanish teacher, and on Tuesdays and Thursdays talking with Renata and most of the class about the most random things.

Biggest positive influences: My family has had a major impact in my life by pushing me to finish high school and put me in a better place than I used to be. My uncle, aunt, brother and the tons of cousins that follow have given me so much love since I’ve moved to Jal. My best friends Ebany, Brandon, and Maria have made my high school experience enjoyable by giving me love and laughs through it all. My coworkers at Cole’s Diner have also been there for me through it all ever since I started working there in August. The Coles have been a second family to me allowing me to rant, laugh, or even be mad at them.

Favorite Teacher: My favorite teacher at Jal High would have to be Ms. Adriana. I have extra love towards her since she’s my cousin, but I can see she’s made such an impact on every kid that walks in her class. I love to talk to her about boys, drama, and the new Red Bull flavors.

Plans after high school: I plan on going to Texas Tech University to major in Kinesiology and become a Pediatric Occupational Therapist.

Parents: William and Victoria Douglas

Advice to younger students: As a senior I advise you guys to take advantage of the time you have. I used to be a baby freshman, thinking I have all the time in the world, but time will fly when you’re having fun.
