Lady Panthers make it to 1st round of state tournament

On Wednesday, the Lady Panthers Softball Team (12-14; 7-5 in district; ranked #12 in 2A/A softball in NM) faced off against the Hozho Academy Wolves (22-5; 7-3 in district; ranked 4th in 2A/A softball in NM). The Lady Panthers started off strong in the first inning, scoring 2 runs to the Wolves’ 1, but in the 3rd inning, the Wolves pulled ahead by scoring 5 runs. The Lady Panthers unfortunately were not able to overcome the Wolves’ lead in the ensuing innings. The final score was 7-3, finishing off a very respectable season for the Lady Panthers.
