Kids Get to Touch a Truck

This past Tuesday at Jal Elementary, students were treated to a “Touch a Truck” event, where they got to climb in the cab of fire trucks, tractor-trailer rigs, a tow truck provided by Southern Belle Towing, police vehicles, an ambulance from Jal EMS and a large crane. Students got to try on real bullet-proof vests from Jal Police Department. The kids’ faces beamed with fun and excitement as they got to touch and sit in vehicles most likely for the first time in their lives.
