Junior High Teams Thump Demons

This past Monday, the Jal Junior High Basketball teams delivered resounding defeats to the Dexter Demons and Lady Demons.

By the end of the first period, the Lady Panthers led 21-0. At halftime, the score was 36-4. By the end of the third period, the Lady Panthers had extended their lead to 41 points, 45-4. With the clock left running in the fourth period, the final score was 45-6.

The Panther Boys “A” Team, by the end of the first period, were mercilessly whipping the Dexter Demons (who didn’t appear to be well prepared in basic basketball skills, unfortunately) 20-0. At halftime, the Panthers had extended their lead to 29 points, 32-3. At the end of the third period, Jal had extended their lead 44-5. The final score was 61-7. The Panther Boys “B” Team was badly beaten (48-3) by the Dexter Boys “B” Team, so all was not lost for the Demons. Even so, the Panther Boys “A” Team, as well as the Lady Panthers, looked great Monday night.
