Joyce Jean Kimble

Joyce Jean Kimble, age 93, passed away on May 9, 2024 in Jal, NM. She was born on June 29, 1930 in Knox City, TX to Siscero Washington and Mabel Mae Murray (Townsend) Stephens. Joyce married John Ray Kimble on December 16, 1948 in Kermit and they shared 34 wonderful years together until his passing in 1982. Joyce was a member of the Jal Church of Christ. She enjoyed golfing and lived life by her own rules. She was a loving mother, wife, and grandmother and was known as “Granny”. She will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband: John Kimble; parents: Steve and Mabel Stephens; and sister: Wonlee Presnell.

Joyce is survived by her son: John Kimble of Boerne, TX; sister: Daryln Sauter and husband Al of Bakersfield, CA; grandchildren: Dax Kimble and wife Myriah; great-grandchildren: Kelby and spouse Yaz and Bailey; and great-great grandchildren: Brooklynn, Riley, and Ozzy. A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 13, 2024 at 11:00 CST in Monahans, TX at Monahans Cemetery.
