Johnna Butts

Activities/Sports: 4-H, Softball, Volleyball, Basketball, NHS, Student council, Rockets, Academic Team.

Favorite part of high school experience: My favorite part of my high school experience has been getting reserve champion lamb, with a lamb my brother and I raised.

Biggest positive influences: My parents, grandparents, brothers, Coach Emmy, Coach Gonzalez, Coach Estrada, Coach Little, Coach May, my best friends Emery and Jaylee. All of these people have helped me become a better person and had a lasting impact on my life. They have all been there for me and supported me, motivated me, and pushed me to be better every day.

Favorite teacher: Mr. Estrada. He made learning fun and enjoyable in his class every day, and always went the extra mile to make sure you fully understood what he was teaching.

Plans after high school: I plan to go to college, majoring in Ag Education.

Advice for younger students: My advice for younger students would be: Don’t procrastinate your schoolwork, compete in everything you do, take every opportunity you get and always live in the moment.
