“Grease” Comes to Jal This Weekend

For the past several weeks, the Jal High School Drama Department, headed up by Director Mr. Geoff Hess, has been working on the musical, “Grease,” one of the most popular and well-known musicals from the 1970s. Performances will be at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, Friday and Saturday of this week in the Jal High School Auditorium. A dress rehearsal will be held for Jal Elementary students at 2:30 p.m. Thursday the 8th.
Some of the students participating on the musical include Luna Garay, Ezequiel Diaz, Sadi Richard, Grace Earp, Xochil Amador, April Peugh, Uriel Ward, Roy Peugh, Jayden Walker, Sebastian Zavala, Sasha Price, Nevi Vega, Abbi Thorne, Cadi Richard, Sofia Granillo, Kynzie Sauceda, Kendall O’Quinn, and Ace Moreno. Adults who will be playing parts in the musical include Brian Snider, Geoff Hess, Jaime Earp, Miki Savoie, and Gina Muniz.
