Favorite part of high school:

My favorite part of high school has been the friendships I’ve built and the memories I’ve made with them, whether it was through school events, sports, or just hanging out. The sense of community and all the little moments that made each day unique are what I’ll cherish the most.

What people have been the biggest positive influences in your life?

My mom and Coach Ross have had the biggest impact on my life. My mom has always supported me, teaching me the value of hard work and resilience. Coach Ross has pushed me to improve, instilling discipline and perseverance. Their guidance has helped shape me into the person I am today, and I’m truly grateful for both of them.

Favorite teacher:

Mr. Little. He had a way of making class fun, and we could always joke around with him. But beyond that, he touched our lives not just as a teacher but on a personal level. He took the time to connect with each of us, building a bond that made a lasting impact. He wasn’t just a teacher; he was someone we could trust and look up to.

Advice to younger students:

My advice to younger students at Jal Schools is simple—work hard, but don’t forget to live in the moment. Stay focused on your grades and get your work done, but make time for the fun: the games, the school events, the little moments with friends that turn into lifelong memories. Surround yourself with good people, steer clear of drama, and appreciate every day. High school flies by faster than you think, so make it count—learn, laugh, and leave with no regrets.
