Demolition of old football stands begins

This week, work has begun by Lasco Construction on the stands in Panther Stadium, with the new stands being expected to be completed next summer. Superintendent Brian Snider says the concrete structure under the old stands, which were installed over sixty years ago, had begun to deteriorate. The district donated the old seating to Tatum School District, with new, modern seating to be placed once the new concrete and steel portion of the stands is completed.
