Camila Baeza

Activities/Sports: Basketball, volleyball, track and field, and cross country. SystemsGo Rocketry Team, Jal High Academic Team, Student Council, Student Body Class Officer, and National Honor Society; currently serving as Vice President.

Favorite part of high school: Getting the chance to go to state for track and field and win our medley relay race! I also loved getting to experience lovely connections and friendships through sports, as well as through high school.

Biggest positive influences: My parents have always encouraged me to keep pushing through every aspect in life, ensuring I do everything with passion, and making the most out of life. My dad has always made sure I find the good in everything.

Favorite Teacher: I love every teacher at Jal High! Though, my favorite had to be Mr. Willmon. I had learned so much math in such little time I had with him, and he was very enthusiastic which persuaded me more which I love!

Plans after high school: To attend Texas Tech University and pursue a career in Nursing!
