What has been your favorite part of your high school experience?

Definitely sports.

What people have been the biggest positive influences in your life? (Parents, teachers, coaches, friends). How have they made an impact on your life?

A positive influence in my life has been my coach, Johnny Estrada. He has taught me and my team countless life lessons, both on and off the field. His support has always been there when we needed it, and he’s helped us push through tough times. Coach Estrada has shown us what it means to work hard, stay focused, and support each other as a team. I’m really grateful for the impact he’s had on my life and how much he’s helped me grow.

Who was your favorite teacher at Jal High, and why?

My favorite teacher at Jal High was Mrs. Loftis. She had a great way of creating a classroom where we could learn and still have fun. She made sure we understood the material but also kept things interesting and enjoyable. I really appreciated how she made the learning environment feel comfortable and engaging for everyone.

What are your parents’ names?

Sarah Locklar and Gabriel Juarez

As a senior, what would your advice be to younger students in Jal Schools?

My advice to younger students would be to enjoy the little things now, because school goes by faster than you think. Be kind, ask questions, and don’t be afraid to be yourself. You’ve got plenty of time to figure things out, so have fun while you do!
