The following is a press release from the organization regarding this week’s golf camp at the Jal Country Club:

First Tee of Southeastern New Mexico wrapped up its Summer Camp Season at Jal Country Club in Jal, New Mexico. Throughout the week, campers rotated through fun, skill-building stations focused on putting, chipping, pitching, and driving. While learning the game of golf, they also developed confidence, made new friends, and had plenty of fun along the way. At First Tee of Southeastern New Mexico, we’re committed to building good golfers and even better people by teaching life skills and reinforcing our core values of confidence, integrity, perseverance, and sportsmanship.

To close out an amazing week, campers cooled off with some of their favorite water activities, including Water Balloon Chipping, the Super Soaker Golf Ball Blaster, and Pass the Sponge! The smiles, laughter, and friendly competition were the perfect way to end another incredible summer.
