
Panthers Take Down the Bobcats

At Thursday night’s Basketball Homecoming Game, the Panthers (7-13 overall; 2-2 in district) took on the Hagerman Bobcats (6-14 overall; 2-4 in district). The game was high energy and fast paced from the start, with the Panthers showing excellent ball handling, defense, passing and shooting. The Panthers brought their best game for sure. At halftime, the Panthers led the Bobcats 26-18. At the beginning of the final quarter, the Panthers were maintaining their lead, 40-30. Davian Navarette scored 12 points, followed closely by Daniel Ornelas with 11, Zadyn Lujan and Eyan Faulkner with 7 each, Jayden Cervantes with 4, Xekius Ramos with 3 and Steven Cervantes with 2. The final score was 46-35.
