Awake to Righteousness and Sin Not

1Co. 15:33 “Do not be  deceived: “Evil company  corrupts good habits.”  Awake to righteousness,  and do not sin; for some do  not have the knowledge of  God. I speak this to your  shame.”   

Life for Christians is  a continuous series of  choices: the flesh or  Spiritual Wholeness, the  crowd or the Covenant,   the world from which we  were Saved or the Journey  that leads to eternal  Glory. O Friends, Jesus  knows the complexity of  living in a wicked world:  He prayed for us in John  17:15 “ I do not pray that  You should take them out  of the world, but that You  should keep them from  the evil one.”   

1Co. 2:12 reminds us  of God’s Great Gift of  Grace… “Now we have  received, not the spirit of  the world, but the Spirit  who is from God, that we  might know the things  that have been freely  given to us by God.”  True  Believers are never alone:   we always have the Word  in our mind & the Holy  Spirit in our soul: if we  listen, they gently guide  us in our daily pursuit of  spiritual growth & help  us live victoriously in the  Faith.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, we  born-again Christians are  in the world, but not of the  world. Guide our heart to  know how, when & when  not, to mingle with the  lost world around us.  Amen.
