Two Elected to Hospital Board

This past Tuesday, the voters of Jal elected two candidates to seats on the board of the Jal Hospital District. Incumbent Bridgot Fulfer was reelected with 25% of the votes cast in her favor, just edging out incumbent member Christine Little by just 15 votes. Newcomer to the hospital board, Johnny Mac Owens II, was elected with a strong plurality of the votes, at 37%. A total of 707 votes were casts for the hospital board candidates in this election. Owens, Fulfer, and Little all agreed to be interviewed about their candidacy. Julia Watson received 6% of the total votes, and Kaytlinne Daniella Serna received 9% of the votes cast.
