Kids Have a Blast at Fall Festival

Yesterday at the Jal Community Center, the Jal Church of God hosted its annual Fall Festival. Nearly one hundred guests participated in the event, which included fun and games such as a photo booth, fake tattoos, a cake walk, football toss, “Holy Hoops,” and “Ring Around the Hug,” “Fishers of Men. On the menu were nachos and hot dogs, along with soft drinks, not to mention tons of candy. Kudos go to the hardworking volunteers who spent several hours Tuesday and Wednesday decorating and setting up for the event. Volunteers included Vickey and Chris Douglas, Lori Verscheuren, Sallie Bazan, Gina Aragon, Gina Molinar, Christina Martinez, Janice Cole, Joe Cole, Deedee Lopez, Josiah Earp, Jaime Earp, Chloe Earp, Melissa and Alfonso Cervantes, Jackie Ford, LaRee Lowery, Andrea May, Cynthia and Antonio Armedariz, Jasmine Little, Vanessa Aragon, Rodney Compton, Adriana Gonzalez, Colton Compton, and Aaron and Adriana Faulkner.
