Ladies Wig Out During 5K

Last Saturday, July 19th, at 7:00 a.m., GirlsRunByFaith hosted a unique “Wiggin Out” 5K run that by all accounts was a really fun time for everyone involved. Over thirty ladies participated in the run. The run began at the Jal Country Club and ended at Jal Lake. Jal Police Department, EMS, and Jal Fire Department supported the run. Nichole Toliver started the run out with a devotional and prayer. The event was sponsored by Cole’s Diner, Iron Horse Sports Grille, Mamasita’s Mexican Restaurant, and Southern Belle Towing. What was unique about the event was the colorful wigs each participant wore for the run. Prizes awarded included Little Locks, to Aubree Molina and Brooklynn Vega; BIG Hair Energy to Priscila Montoya, Silver Strands to Norma Crawford, and Best Wig to Jackie Espinoza and Claudia Lozano.
