Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham is expected to allow hospitals to begin rationing care based on how likely a patient will survive, a move many physicians had hoped to avoid but say is necessary given New Mexico’s spiraling number of hospitalizations amid the COVID-19 outbreak.
