Senator Fulfer Ready for 2019 Session

(Santa Fe) State Senator Gregg Fulfer (R-Jal) visits with his wife Kim prior to his first opening ceremonies of the 2019 Legislative Session which convened on Tuesday at noon.
Senator Fulfer was sworn into office, and signed the Senate Roster for his first time during the opening session ceremonies in the Senate Chambers of the State Capitol.
Senator Fulfer was appointed by then Governor Susana Martinez to fill the seat held by popular State Senator Carroll Leavell who retired in December of 2018.
Senator Fulfer said his priorities this session include  job creation for New Mexicans, improving education, being watchful over the taxpayers’ money and passing a balanced budget to operate state government in fiscal year 2020.
Senators Fulfer stressed that preserving the state’s permanent funds for current and future students is critical.
The 60-day session ends at noon on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at noon.
